What is the best way to raise children who are critical thinkers?

Get them to read Symbolic Logic by Lewis Carroll (yes, that Lewis Carroll):

It teaches one a simple method for critically evaluating arguments (in the sense of logical claims). I read it when I was fifteen, and it gave me independent means of becoming a critical thinker, and above all, a critical listener.

Try to get this edition—it’s friendlier than others.
