How similar are Biblical Hebrew and Quranic Arabic?

The common distinction among non-Hebrew speakers between “biblical Hebrew” and modern Hebrew is largely unwarranted: modern Hebrew is an edifice built upon biblical Hebrew, and biblical Hebrew expressions are an integral part of everyday speech and writing today.
